post ini sangat narciss kannn.... kol 3 kang ade internal meeting. topic for today is system. kena lah aku belajar pasal DCS, FGS,SDS,FF,JB,SIS,EX,etc... yg diajar oleh sifu system. caiyokkkk!!!!!!!! tp aku rase kan, aku kuar dr meeting sure aku akan blur. pastu kena lak revise balik ape aku tulis dlm note. cam sekolah lak aku rase. hehehe...

Lead Engineer in the making

A few days ago, one of the lead engineer brief us regarding that topic above. but i wonder myself, is that what I want to be in future. He target that we all can be Sr Eng by 5 years if we do it the right way and another 5 years, insyaallah, Lead Eng IF we have our own KPI. Phew!

Frankly, most of the Lead are MEN. None of them are WOMEN. That's what make it tough. I'm still taking baby steps in this field. Got loads to learn. not only in the field that i'm handling, but also in different area too. Elec, mech, Pipe, struc and process.

I pray and pray that I am doing the right thing. =)

department aku kena move dari tingkat 25 ke 19 sebab big boss nak department2 engineer level nearby. level 18 ade department structure ngan electrical. level aku skarang ade department piping dengan process.

dulu mase kat level 25, ade department ITMS (IT management system) ngan SAP. errmm... aku tatau SAP stands for what. malas mau amik tau. hehehe... and aku suke layout kat level 25. pantry ngan toilet satu jalan yg same.

tapi di level 19, pantry dan toilet adalah 2 jalan yang berbeza. satu kena pusing belah kanan (arrow hijau), dan lagi satu kena pusing belah kiri (arrow biru). payah weeeyyy...

and one thing, i have to melalui kawasan piping area and ada mata-mata yang memandang. sungguh kurang selesa okkeeeyyyyy!!!

menurut layout ni, aku kena duduk kat no 30. but i don't want to cause kat tepi highway. tak best langsung. so request kat #33. memula boss kasi, pastu die tersedar yang aku bdk baru, so die letak aku kat # 16 (yang bulat merah kecik itu). huhuhu...

Tak elok

keje ku pada hari ini hanya angkat kotak-kotak, pc, kerusi, drawer dan tong sampah sendiri pindah dari tingkat 25 ke tingkat 19. sungguh crowded lah pulak tingkat 19. ade piping department yang memang tersangat lah ramai. process department dan project management. the big boss (bigger than my own bos aka TaiChiMaster) punyer bilik betul-betul dekat ngan my department nye area. sungguh tak best. tapi nak wat camne. dah the big boss nak kitorg kat situ. hhmmm...

i got to change my seat but unfortunately not the one that i wanted because as the TaiChiMaster said "Eleena is still new so she can't seat too far away. i think she better seat here (pointing to the layout diagram)". but i kinda like my new seating area because near to those yang boleh entertain my questions. ;).

a lot of drama happened regarding the seating positions. some happy, some didn't. but what to do rite. you can never satisfy everyone.

baru setengah ari duk kat situ, i already felt a bit lonely because previously i used to have someone seating beside me. sekarang still ade cume barang dia saje lah yang ade. orang nya blum lagi balik dari Yanbu. probably next month or bulan 6 baru dia balik malaysia. gile lame die duk sana. rasenye dia dah duk sane nak masuk 6 months dah ni. x rindu sama malaysia kaaa? huhuhu... boleh mintak die open table coz for sure dapat byk duit. blum ade sesi perkenalan dah nak mintak org belanja. ;). i never meet him ever since i work there. just tau nama jer..

tapi ade one thing yang membuatkan my mind keep on thingking. everytime i wanted to angkat those boxes or files, some of the guys always, i repeat ALWAYS said "ish, pempuan tak elok angkat berat2" or "jangan angkat tu, biar aku je. pempuan tak elok angkat berat2"

that "pempuan x elok angkat berat2" ayat really make me think. ye ke tak elok? aku rase some of the things that i carried x der lah berat mane. angkat pun dlm 3-4 seconds jer. x der lah lame mane. or are they just being gentlemen? haha.. but i think they really meant it when they said that.

Someone said I think a lot. Should i stop to think? haha.. itu pun kena think gak tu. =P

BIG!

sebenarnya, xder lah BIG day happened sangat for me today. It's just that starting today, the project at my office is now begin. so probably i will be one busy lady. maybe even stay and work late? i don't know? depend on the job tho...


my department had to shift to another level from 25th to the 19th floor in same building. hence starting tomorrow, we will have to put our stuff in the box. zip it all up and let the carriermen carry all those stuff into our new workplace. my sitting work place also has change and it has been fix by the bos aka TaiChiMaster. hhmm... hoping i can ask the TaiChiMaster to place me to another place. the one that he places me is tempat org lalu lalang and ia sungguh lah tidak best. i want to move inside a bit.

nak ke tak nak ek mintak ditukar tempat duduk. hhmmm... think tank think tank...

where do i begin here hhmmm? let me start with my work life k.

well, i think I'm liking it very much. love the people. love the environment. love the surrounding. Alhamdulillah, they all are very keen to help me. I do start from scratch. I'm currently doing Instrument and i do know nothing about it before. zero. but now, Alhamdulillah, i've learn slowly. just like my colleague said, "xper2, pelan2 kayuh" and yes, i'm doing that with much love. huhuhu...


my current work place. i think this picture was taken a week after i start work. not much of file. but now, my place are full with files. seriusly, rasa cam kecik jer tempat keje aku tu. oh, i do ade my own ext. nak call just dial 822. nombor yg depan aku tak hapal lagi. hahaha... =P


PC itu hanya boleh buat blogging and surfing. oh and work related thingy. you tubing, facebooking and friendstering di-block. but i did see someone view frenster but too shy to ask how he did it. hehehe.. maybe after dah ade sesi berkenalan, baru berani tanya kot.

about my family? hhmmm... oh, i did go to Hari Kraf Kebangsaan a few weeks ago. sell loads of Batik2 from terengganu and kelantan. bought some lah... blame it on mama because she keeps on telling me " lawa tu ena" or " ena taknak ke? lawa tu" or " beli lah ena, amik lah satu".

the way mama said it like mama is going to pay it all but nadah. i paid my own kain with the help of hasutan mama. waaaa... kering pocket ku.. hehe.. but, just like mama said, memang byk batik yang lawa-lawa.

damn, baru terperasan kaler sume cam merah/pinkish/purple. nape lah aku x amik variety skit ek? asik2 kaler cam merah2 pinkish jer... aiyaaa... oh, these are all mine. mama nyer x sempat nak amik gambar. mama lagi banyak borong than me. mama is the true shopaholic lah. not me. I just inherit from her. hehe...

oh, too many weddings to attend. some i've had to pass. Sorry andak and abg Yani cause couldn't make it for your wedding. wishing you guys happy always and a very big congratulations!!

On today daily life. went to klcc with my gossiper. we talk, talk and talk and shopping! that's a Must for us. hahaha...

while waiting for my gossipper in the dressing room. she is trying the Levi's jeans but once she wore it, looks like minah remp-it. seriously. haha... jeans punyer lah mahal tapi pakai cam minah remp-it lah pulak. ;p

tu je yang sempat dirembat for today. not much thing lah. or maybe not much of a sale. kalo sale sampai 70%, confirm byk gile aku rembat. rasenye beli time sale lagi worth it lah. tak keash lah dah off-season nye style because i don't follow the trend. i make my own trend. ;P



books i'm reading...

currently, i'm falling in love with fantasy genre. David Gemmell trilogy is the must read. loving it. waiting for the 3rd novel thoo. Falls of the Kings. yang ade kat kinokuniya pun yang hard cover rega dalam RM100. mahal dowh. nak tunggu paper-back but SA tu cakap probably dalam setahun stgh baru akan sampai sini. demmmm... I really tak boleh tahan sabar. ending for Shield of Thunder cam hanging camtu jer. x puas lahh... nak tau ending die..




sementara nak tunggu/cari the 3rd book, i bought Terry Goodkind lak. my opismate recommend me that author. can't wait to start reading it! yeay! this book can last me for 2-3 weeks before i'm in a search to another good book. any recommendation from others? i need a good Fantasy genre book. no more chic-lit. so over that period. haha...


oh, i read during waiting the LRT. boring lah beratur tanpa buat ape2. while waiting, i love to cucuk my telinga listen to the mp3 and lost in my own world.

currently i'm reading David Gemmell's novel, Lord of the Silver Bow dan Shield of Thunder. in that novel ade watak name Andromache. She is the kind of woman that i want to be. Someone who has fiery spirit and fierce independant.
